Richemont migrates its IT infrastructure to Amazon

Luxury group Richemont will migrate its entire IT infrastructure to Amazon Web Services (AWS) and close its data centers in Europe by the end of 2022.

The Richemont Group will move 5,000 virtual machines and 120 instances of its SAP business software to Amazon Web Service. The group says it needs agility, security and scalability to modernize its infrastructure, improve security and drive automation of its global operations. Richemont’s “cloud-first” strategy includes migrating its IT applications and systems for resource planning, accounting, supply chain management, production, product lifecycle management as well as e-commerce to AWS.

Kim Hartlev, CIO of Richemont, explains the choice: “We are always looking for the best solutions to streamline the way we work and compete globally.”

As part of its 5-year plan, Richemont wants to develop cloud-based systems to deliver an engaging customer experience via digital and using machine learning. The group also wants to offer new digital experiences on its e-commerce platform, with personalized storefronts and services, tailored product video presentations and tailored offers for access to new collections before they arrive in physical stores คามากร้า ราคา.
