The new Mercedes Vision EQXX electric concept promises a battery range of 1000 km by 2025 and is innovative down to the last detail.

Mercedes-Benz and its Vision EQXX concept foreshadow a new generation of compact electric cars that will be available in 2025. Among the innovations of these new vehicles, Mercedes has chosen to partner with AMSilk, the world’s leading supplier of bio-based, high-performance silk materials.

The electric prototype is the result of joint development between Mercedes teams and engineers from Formula 1 and Formula E. This multi-disciplinary approach has enabled this concept to see the light of day in just 18 months. Its promise? A miniature battery that will allow the car to travel 1000 km in a row without recharging.
