The German high-end luggage brand unveils the Watch Case RIMOWA, its brand new aluminum storage box for 3 watches. A limited edition available for pre-order from November, at a price of €1,600.
The German specialist, a subsidiary of the LVMH Group, is recognized worldwide for its unique know-how since its creation in 1898 and subsequently for its emblematic grooved, high-quality and resistant luggage products that appeared in 1937.
After that, Rimowa became one of the references in the luxury and travel sector by redefining these two universes. More recently, the German brand has released a whole range of telephone cases made entirely of aluminium or polycarbonate and continues to develop its accessories by designing a watch case made of aluminium with a very pure and simple “Made in Italy” design.
Designed in Germany, the sliding case comes in a rectangular shape with round edges that can be opened, as well as closed, on both sides by a sliding gesture. The outside is made of anodized aluminum only and the inside is made of blue microfiber. The case has three places to put your watches delicately thanks to its pads also made of blue microfiber to avoid any minor scratches. Very light thanks to the aluminum, the box weighs only 1.29 kg for a size of 11.2cm by 26.7cm.
Rimowa is known among luxury goods enthusiasts for its historical identity but also for its technological innovations on each of its new products.
This watch box, with its unique minimalist design, has been designed with the aim of being mobile wherever you go, fitting easily into a travel bag or suitcase thanks to its cylindrical shape, or even as a display object at home. The three cushions of the case are also removable, and another upper protective cushion is added to the others to reinforce the protection of the watches and their dials during transport.
Rimowa has put the limited edition box set online on its website, which will soon be available for pre-order from November 10th and will start its first deliveries in December 2020.
