Luxe Pack Monaco: Veuve Clicquot launches its new packaging

The Champagne house Veuve Clicquot unveils a brand new, more responsible packaging.

On the occasion of the Luxe Pack trade show in Monaco, Champagne Veuve-Clicquot presented its range of new generation boxes as part of its Eco Yellow program. As part of a “less but better” production approach, this new packaging made from regenerative components marks a decisive step in the eco-responsible evolution of the famous house.

At a conference with the environmental organization Canopy, Veuve Clicquot presented the fruit of several years of research and development. This is a new range of responsible cases, made from so-called regenerative materials, that is 50% hemp and 50% recycled paper. The champagne house had committed to this objective of sustainable transformation with Canopy, which works to protect forests, species and the climate.

Located in the Champagne region, the La Chanvrière cooperative is responsible for producing the hemp used by Veuve Clicquot for its packaging and meets local sourcing and traceability criteria.

By 2023, the new generation of boxes developed by Veuve Clicquot will replace all the current boxes in its ranges.
