Dolce & Gabbana, Armani, Versace and soon Louis Vuitton? According to several sources, the checkered brand should open in the coming years a hotel on the most famous avenue in the world: the Champs-Élysées.
According to the Lettre A and sources close to the real estate world, Louis Vuitton, belonging to the world leader in luxury goods LVMH, should set up its very first hotel at 103 avenue des Champs-Élysées. An address already known and visible to the general public since it is there that the House of Dior had planned to establish its new headquarters and open a flagship. Louis Vuitton would have passed him by. Agreement or rivalry? Several hypotheses are circulating.
The building at 103 is currently covered with a huge white tarp, itself covered with multiple Dior designs. According to Letter A, this change in numbers between the two houses is the result of an internal struggle.
“Before the pandemic, the official information was that Dior would have 103. But this is no longer the case. Just imagine the impact that a five-star Louis Vuitton hotel will have on the entire avenue!” reveals a real estate professional in the neighborhood.
According to the estimates of the same source, the luxury giant could spend about 60 million euros per year just for the rent of the building, which belongs to the Qatari royal family. The 103 is probably the largest building on the Champs-Élysées.
