After releasing its first connected watch model Tambour Horizon in 2017, Louis Vuitton is now unveiling a brand new model: the Tambour Horizon Light Up.

French luxury house Louis Vuitton is expanding its line of connected watches with the Tambour Horizon Light Up. The latter lacks Google’s Wear OS and runs on a custom operating system. Its price starts at $3,300 for the polished steel variant, while its matte black and matte brown models come in at $3,600.

Inspired by the convex case of the iconic Tambour, the Tambour Horizon Light Up has a unique silhouette with a curved sapphire crystal display with a trompe-l’oeil effect. The dial is equipped with a backlight made up of 24 LEDs that dance in a kaleidoscope of colors with each notification or activation. Aficionados of unique pieces will appreciate the possibility of engraving their initials on the dial, in the color and typography of their choice. The customization goes as far as the choice of the dial, which can be changed into 8 possible display configurations.
