Successful actor and Hollywood star Leonardo DiCaprio has decided to embark on a sparkling new project. He has just acquired a stake in the Telmont Champagne House.
Leonardo DiCaprio, an actor committed to the preservation of and respect for the environment, has taken a stake in the capital of Telmont Champagnes, after being seduced by the brand’s ambitions.
“By protecting the biodiversity of its land and sourcing 100% of its electricity from renewable sources, Telmont is determined to radically reduce its environmental footprint, which makes me proud to join them as an investor. We share the same beliefs and commitment,” said Leonardo DiCaprio in a statement.
Bought by the Rémy Cointreau group, the Telmont Champagne House launched a large-scale project under the impetus of its Managing Director Ludovic du Plessis. This project, entitled “Au nom de la Terre”, aims to develop a 100% organic vineyard by 2025.
