Le Rouge Français is innovating and now proposes a bio-sourced case with its eco-friendly refills

Le Rouge Français is a bio-cosmetics brand launched in 2018 by Elodie Carpentier and husband Salem Ghezaili, who were concerned to put forward a vegan alternative to the traditional lipstick.

 

The brand has already been awarded multiple times for their engaged innovations, like for example at Défi Cosm’éthique Bio in 2019. Le Rouge Français has thus joined the Obratori group, L’Occitane’s start-up studio, and has raised one million euro for its developpement.

 

 

A lipstick collection of 15 shades, exclusively made from botanical pigments, is available, still certified bio, vegan and clean beauty. The composition of pigments is made using shea butter, apricot, sunflowers, and castor oil, as well as bio-sourced rice, candelilla and carnauba wax.

 

The brand is also taking a further step, now introducing luxury bio-sourced cases, and customisable and eco-friendly refills. Fully recyclable, the cases are suitable for multiple uses, and always with the same engagements.

 

The refillable stick, realised in a fully bio-sourced matter made from castor oil, will be available for 45€, and the refill alone 26€.

 

Le Rouge Français now has a dedicated sales area at 5 rue Rouget de Lille, in Paris.
