When an iconic restaurant like Tour d’Argent pays tribute to its resurrected neighbor, Notre-Dame de Paris, the result is a menu as dazzling as the cathedral’s architecture, concocted in seven stages by chef and Meilleur Ouvrier de France, Yannick Franques.
After delighting our eyes and ears at its reopening ceremony, Notre-Dame de Paris will be titillating the taste buds of a few lucky diners, thanks to an initiative by La Tour d’Argent.
The gastronomic restaurant has concocted an ephemeral menu which, from December 10 to 14, will pay tribute to the rebirth of this world-famous monument.
These neighboring institutions along the Seine – Notre-Dame de Paris, built between 1163 and 1345, and the Tour d’Argent, founded in 1582 at 15, quai de la Tournelle – have both contributed to the legend of centuries of Paris…
Breathtaking view
Since the addition of a sixth floor with a huge bay window in 1936, the Tour d’Argent offers a breathtaking view of Notre-Dame and the Ile de la Cité.
