Kering unveils two flagships for Saint Laurent in Paris and Gucci in Milan

François-Henri Pinault’s group opened the first Saint Laurent store on the Champs Elysées, the largest in the park. Kering also renovated Gucci’s Milan flagship from top to bottom. These concepts turn the page on previous artistic directions and play the card of contemporary art and elitist positioning to the full.

In the run-up to Christmas, Kering unveils the flagships of two emblematic Houses, Gucci and Saint Laurent.

For its part, Saint Laurent is setting up shop for the first time on the Champs Elysées in Paris, at 123 avenue, close to the Arc de Triomphe. Artistic Director Anthony Vaccarello explains that he “wanted to carry out one of Yves Saint Laurent’s wishes when he arrived in Paris and said he wanted his name written in letters of fire” on the already famous avenue. The inauguration is all the more significant in that the new four-storey outlet is billed as “the largest flagship store” in the Saint Laurent park, which now boasts nine outlets in Paris, and 297 boutiques worldwide (by the end of September 2023).

The new store features the entire Saint Laurent universe, including men’s and women’s collections, ready-to-wear, handbags, shoes, accessories and jewelry.
