Jaguar Land Rover announced forming a strategic partnership with NVIDIA to develop automated driving systems.
Jaguar Land Rover is developing a multi-year partnership with NVIDIA, the leader in artificial intelligence (AI) and computing, to jointly develop and deliver next-generation automated driving systems and AI-based services and experiences for its customers.
Innovation
Starting in 2025, all new Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles will be built on the platform defined by Nvidia Drive software, providing a wide range of safety, automated driving and parking systems, as well as driver assistance systems. Inside the vehicle, the system will offer AI features including driver and occupant monitoring and advanced visualization of the driving environment.
Jensen Huang, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Nvidia is excited about the collaboration, “Next-generation cars will transform the automobile into one of the largest and most advanced technology industries. Software-defined, programmable fleets of cars will offer new features and services throughout the life of the vehicles. We are excited to partner with Jaguar Land Rover to reimagine the future of transportation and create the most advanced cars.”
Jaguar Land Rover will also leverage data center solutions developed in-house with Nvidia DGX for AI model training that will deliver innovative assisted and automated driving services throughout the life of the car via software updates.

The ambition for both groups is to optimize the customer experience, focusing on innovation for driving comfort and modernity that accompanies the driver and passengers throughout the life of the vehicle.
