Hotel giant Hilton expands its catalog of prestige addresses by joining forces with the independent network Small Luxury Hotels of the World.
The Hilton Group has announced an exclusive partnership with Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH). This alliance enables the American hotel group to add SLH’s exceptional addresses to its catalog of establishments. Extending across the globe, this network of 560 hotels joins the luxury brands Waldorf Astoria, Conrad and LXR, owned by the Hilton Group. A strategic operation that Hilton CEO Chris Nassetta described as a “perfect fit” when presenting the results for the final quarter of 2024.
As the partnership develops, Hilton customers, and in particular members of the Hilton Honors program, will gradually be offered access to SLH hotels. With over 180 million members, the Hilton Group’s loyalty program enables its members to earn points for each stay in the hotel group’s establishments, and to pay for their night’s stay with the same accumulated points. This benefit will be extended to SLH network addresses. « This partnership with Small Luxury Hotels of the World will give Hilton guests and Hilton Honors members access to a collection of prestige hotels in new luxury destinations, giving them more opportunities to dream, book, earn and redeem points with Hilton », said Chris Silcock, President of Brands and Commercial Services for the large U.S. group. In future, participating SLH hotels will also be bookable through all Hilton channels.
