The brand new brand of the Hilton hotel chain, Canopy, has just opened its doors for the first time in France. It is in Paris, in the heart of the 16th arrondissement of Paris and the mythical Trocadero, that the Canopy by Hilton Paris Trocadero opened its doors on Wednesday 12 May 2021.

This new hotel, recently opened in the capital, is however different from the well-known Hilton hotels. The hotel was keen to bring out the soul of Paris by drawing inspiration from the history of the Trocadero for its interior design, evoking its industrial past as well as art deco and the 1930s in its 121 rooms.

Canopy also wanted to open two restaurants, honouring French gastronomy. These will offer only typical French dishes. As Phil Cordell, global head of Canopy by Hilton, explains it: “Canopy brand hotels always seek to pay tribute to their local environment, and this hotel is no exception” .

Canopy also hopes to open two other hotels in the capital during 2021, which will also pay tribute to France and its gastronomy. While the pandemic may not have the desired foreign clientele, this hotel, with its breathtaking view of the Eiffel Tower, will surely attract more than one when tourists from around the world will come back!
