London-based DREST, which claims to be the world leader in interactive fashion and luxury design games, has recruited a new co-CEO and interim CTO. Having recently raised £15 million, the company is now well equipped to prepare the new version of its game, Drest Game 2.0, due for release in October 2024.
After the financial resources, DREST is giving itself the human resources to consolidate its leadership in the field of virtual fashion and luxury games.
The London-based company, founded in 2019, has just announced two major appointments: those of Daniel Svärd as co-CEO and Chris Wright as interim CTO.
Already in 2023, DREST had made two important announcements: last June, it had announced that it had raised £15 million (around €17.41 million) in a new round of financing, from the family office of DREST co-founder and co-chairman Graham Edward. A few months earlier, appointed in early 2023, it had appointed a gaming and web3 specialist, Henri Holm, as its new CFO.
