The luxury project will include a resort, ideal for business travelers or tourists wishing to visit the historic sites of Oman’s capital. The Middle East continues to be an integral part of Four Seasons’ growth strategy as we seek opportunities to deliver unparalleled Four Seasons experiences in exciting and dynamic destinations such as Muscat,” comments Bart Carnahan, president, Global Business Development and Portfolio Management, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts. “We are delighted to be part of OMRAN Group’s long-term vision for the future development of Oman’s tourism landscape, further accelerating the strategic growth of its capital city and continuing to attract luxury guests and residents from around the world with an all-new Four Seasons offering,” he adds.

Oman is a mountainous country surrounded by sand and water, with the azure glow of the Indian Ocean under the Arabian sun and the emerald variations in the coolness of the wadis, the wadis that irrigate the lush palm groves. The country is located on the southeast coast of the Arabian Peninsula, along the Arabian Sea and its capital, Muscat, is an ancient city with a long history as an important port destination with a vibrant culture. In addition to the pleasant surroundings, travelers can enjoy local attractions such as countless museums, mosques and other local heritage sites.

Muscat is a destination rich in history, natural beauty, business, tourism and more, and we look forward to showcasing all it has to offer through this exceptional new project with Four Seasons,” says Dr. Hashil Obaid Al Mahrouqi, CEO of OMRAN Group. “By bringing this iconic brand to Muscat, we continue to advance Oman’s Vision 2040 and our national tourism strategy, solidifying this wonderful country as a preeminent luxury destination for locals and travelers from around the world.

The Four Seasons Resort and Private Residences Muscat, Oman, will take the form of the redevelopment of a former yacht club and marina into 200 rooms and suites and 100 private residences. Guests and residents will have access to a private beach, five restaurants and indoor and outdoor pools with cabanas. In addition to the water sports offered on the beach, the resort will offer many additional activities for its residents with its tennis center, spa and fitness facilities. The property will also have ample indoor and outdoor meeting and event space, as well as a wedding hall, business center and prayer rooms.
