Etro renews the successful panettone collaboration it began in 2023 with the chefs of the two-Michelin-starred Il Luogo Aimo e Nadia restaurant in Pandoro, and this year extends it to pandoro. Two festive desserts rooted in Italian tradition and revisited by chefs Alessandro Negrini and Fabio Pisani, from Lombardy and Puglia respectively.
The collaboration between Etro – owned by the L Catterton Group since 2021 – and Michelin-starred restaurant Il Luogo Aimo e Nadia Milano, launched in 2023, is enriched by a new product. With their innovative approach to tradition, chefs Alessandro Negrini and Fabio Pisani revisit panettone as well as pandoro.
The focus here is as much on the taste buds as on the packaging, which takes up the identity of the Milanese brand founded in 1968 by Gerolamo “Gimmo” Etro. The packaging celebrates the art and elegance of its festive “Paisley Holidays” campaign, named after the famous “paisley” motif.
These two typically Italian desserts are on sale in Etro’s physical boutiques and on its e-commerce site, as well as in the restaurants of the Aimo e Nadia group.
Exceptional local products
A typical Christmas dessert from Verona in the shape of a star, the pandoro created by chefs Alessandro Negrini and Fabio Pisani follows an age-old traditional recipe. The intense fragrance of Tahitian vanilla combines with that of cocoa butter to create a dessert that is golden and soft in the mouth.
