Daisy Edgar Jones is the new global ambassador for the Estée Lauder brand. The British actress and star of the series Normal People will lend her image to the American beauty giant in a campaign to be unveiled in February.
Daisy Edgar Jones, a name that sounds good and was already seen last December in the festive jewelry campaign for French brand Boucheron.
This time, the 27-year-old actress, originally from London, is becoming the face of a beauty brand for the first time. And not just any brand, but Estée Lauder, the flagship brand of the American group The Estée Lauder Companies Inc.
In February, the young woman will be at the heart of a campaign combining press, digital, and retail, promoting products ranging from skincare to perfume and makeup.
With this new addition, the beauty giant, which distributes its products in some 150 countries, hopes to rejuvenate its customer base and shine a spotlight on a segment where competition is becoming increasingly fierce.
Beauty debut
After working with jeweler Boucheron, Daisy Edgar-Jones is making her debut in the beauty world with a first campaign set to launch in February.
“As an actress, I love how makeup can tell the story of who we are. I’ve always admired how Estée Lauder celebrates women’s confidence and individuality,” said the British actress.
Her youthful energy, elegance, and self-confidence, in line with the brand’s philosophy, made the difference. “Daisy is the star of her generation. […] She is ambitious yet approachable, and her confident, youthful spirit and innate sense of style will inspire consumers across generations,” said Justin Boxford, Global Brand President, Estée Lauder.
Born on May 24, 1998, the young woman rose to fame in The War of the Worlds, a series broadcast between 2019 and 2022, loosely based on H.G. Wells’ cult science fiction work and revisited in a morbid Walking Dead style. She then appeared in the series Normal People, adapted from Sally Rooney’s best-selling novel and nominated for an Emmy Award in 2020. She was recently seen in Twisters, Universal’s blockbuster released in the summer of 2024.
In 2026, Daisy Edgar-Jones will be back on screen in two films: Sense and Sensibility, adapted from a novel by Jane Austen (scheduled for release on September 11, 2026), and A Place in Hell, alongside Michelle Williams. She is currently filming the thriller Here Comes the Flood, produced by Netflix, in which she stars opposite Denzel Washington and Robert Pattinson.
Daisy Edgar-Jones thus follows in the footsteps of many Estée Lauder muses, such as model Karlie Kloss and actress Ana de Armas.
