Dubai-based Emirates Aviation is setting an example for the world, winning the 2022 Luxury Travel Advisor Award of Excellence.
Questex’s Luxury Travel Advisor last week announced the winners of its prestigious Awards of Excellence, which recognize companies considered the elite providers in the luxury travel category for 2022.
Emirates won “Best Airline Cabin Service: First Class” at the event.
What’s new for the airline
In early June, the company announced that it was the first airline in the Middle East to launch a premium economy class that will be “unmatched in the industry.” Today, Emirates’ new premium economy class is officially launched and is expected to be a game changer for passengers who can now opt for a more luxurious experience, especially on long-haul flights.
The new class will open on A380 routes to London, Paris and Sydney from August 1, 2022. From December, the service will also be available for customers flying to Christchurch, New Zealand. “Emirates’ A380 is already one of the most sought-after travel experiences in the skies, and now we’ve made it even better,” explained Sir Tim Clark, president of Emirates Airline.
For a superior travel experience, Emirates Airlines also recently launched a free home check-in service for business and first class passengers. Emirates’ A380 first class is undoubtedly a premium luxury service experience, but it is in Emirates’ Boeing 777 that the type of luxury can be found that earned Emirates the Best First Class award at the 2020 Tripadvisor Travelers Choice Award.
The Emirates Boeing 777 first class suite resembles a five-star hotel in many ways, with amenities and a well-equipped bathroom in the sky. Upon arrival, passengers in this luxurious suite receive a pair of slippers, pajamas, an eye mask, as well as men’s and women’s toiletries, and the suite also offers amenities and services, such as personal screens, temperature and lighting controls, and video call room service, among others, with a top speed of 700 mph.
