EIML Paris turns its Cité du luxe 2020 into a digital masterclass !

The Cité du Luxe 2020, whose the Luxus + media is a partner, was to be a major event of the year. Unfortunately, with the global coronavirus pandemic, this day of conferences, a real place of exchange, dialogue and debate between the generations, will not take place. Instead, other digital meetings are organized by EIML Paris.

 

In the current context of confinement, the Cité du Luxe 2020, with the main theme of engagement, is organized digitally in the form of a 30-minute masterclass, twice a week on the Zoom platform.

 

On the program : cross-interviews between research professor Agathe Dementhon and various experts and professionals in the luxury sector.

 

This 8th edition will raise 2 major subjects : the commitment of high-end brands to their customers and their community and the commitment of luxury sector companies in terms of social and societal responsibility.

 

The event, which started with a first session, which was held on April 6 at 5:30 p.m., was co-hosted by Yves Hanania, president and founder of Lighthouse, a brand strategy consulting firm, and Agathe Dementhon, professor-researcher at the EIML Paris.

 

The two participants notably exchanged their point of view on the social and environmental commitment of luxury brands in the actual context.

 

The second masterclass will take place on Thursday April 9 from 6.30 p.m. to 7 p.m, will also welcome 2 speakers : Frédéric Morales, former global retail training manager at Chanel and Agathe Dementhon, professor-researcher at the EIML.

 

The masterclasses will be broadcast live on the Zoom platform and available for replay on the EIML Paris Youtube channel.
