Diesel, the OTB Group’s flagship brand, has signed an exclusive ten-year collaboration with EssilorLuxottica, the world leader in eyewear.

After a successful first collaboration in 2022, Essilorluxottica and Diesel are joining forces for a longer period.
The two Italians have just announced the signing of an exclusive ten-year licensing agreement for the design, manufacture and worldwide distribution of Diesel eyewear. The aim is “to combine Diesel’s bold, intrepid and provocative style with EssilorLuxottica’s unique expertise, innovation and distribution capabilities”.
The agreement begins immediately and will run until December 31, 2029, with an automatic renewal option for a further five years.
A bold, irreverent style
Starting in the first quarter of 2025, the general public will be able to discover the first models of Essilorluxottica-signed Diesel eyewear developed “in a bold and irreverent style”, under the leadership of the Italian brand’s creative director, Belgian Glenn Martens.
Diesel, the main brand of the OTB (Only the Brave) group, founded by Renzo Rosso, had until now entrusted its eyewear line to Retrosuperfuture. This Italian company, founded in 2017, develops eyewear of “quality, distinctive design and affordability”, made entirely in Italy.
