The May 21th, 2024, Maison Chopard stole the show for an evening from the cast of Cannes Festival. Taking advantage of the event, which attracts a large number of stars, the brand invited them to a fashion show combining Haute Joaillerie and Couture pieces.
For the second time, the Maison’s artistic director since 2001, Caroline Scheufele has created a collection of eveningwear that both showcases and mirrors the precious Chopard jewels.
To witness this exceptional moment, an array of prestigious guests gathered in the palace garden. Eden Roc, at the Cap d’Antibes. Among those in attendance were the president of the Cannes 2024 Festival jury, Greta Gerwig, les actrices Eva Green, Demi Moore et Diane Kruger, mannequin Bella Hadid or the pilot and friend of the House, Jacky Ickx.

They all had the chance to discover the new Haute Joaillerie collection Red Carpet Collection by Chopard. Throughout the 77 pieces presented – a reference to the 77th anniversary of the Cannes Film Festival, of which the Maison is an official partner – the dreamlike quality of the creations transports the audience into a fairytale world. To sublimate these precious jewels, Caroline Scheufele has imagined silhouettes with floral prints and embroidery inspired by butterflies or birds. “It’s double the work, but I feel it’s important to offer silhouettes that highlight our creations,” she confided. Pieces in the Caroline’s Couture line mainly take the form of evening gowns, but more wearable ensembles and masculine tuxedos round out the collection.
