Champagne: Louis Roederer is the “World’s Most Admired Champagne Brand”

For the fifth consecutive year, Maison Louis Roederer has been designated as the “World’s Most Admired Champagne Brand” by Drinks International magazine.

Excellence and consistency are the watchwords at Louis Roederer. For the fifth consecutive year, the renowned Reims House has distinguished itself by receiving the “The World’s Most Admired Champagne Brand” award.

For eleven years, the specialized magazine Drinks International has annually recognized Champagne Houses based on the following criteria: the quality and consistency of the wines and their production, the coherence of the brand strategy and communication, the value for money, respect and admiration for the Champagne House, and the strength of the brand compared to its competitors. To establish this ranking, English champagne specialist journalist Giles Fallowfield is joined by a panel of sommeliers, wine merchants, importers, Masters of Wine, authors, and wine journalists.

A Contemporary House

This award highlights the excellent work carried out by Maison Louis Roederer since 1776. Sensible to the challenges of climate change, the vineyard made the choice of sustainable viticulture from the early 1990s. Under the impetus of the Rouzaud family and Jean-Baptiste Lécaillon, the Cellar Master, their focus has been on soil regeneration with the cessation of inputs and the preservation of biodiversity and plant heritage. In 2024, the Louis Roederer vineyard covers an area of 250 hectares, of which 135 are certified organic agriculture.

We receive this award with gratitude, which reflects our Maison’s commitment to a common goal: to be the best possible interpreters of great terroir wines – and to share them in a unique and authentic way,” stated Maison Louis Roederer.
