Celine has announced on its social media accounts the launch of its first make-up range. The ready-to-wear luxury brand will launch its first lipstick shade this autumn.

A new era begins for Celine. While the brand headed by Hedi Slimane has been evolving in the high-perfumery market since 2019, the Maison is preparing to strengthen its presence in the world of cosmetics.

 

The announcement was made on Tuesday March 12. The luxury ready-to-wear brand unveiled the film “La Collection de L’Arc de Triomphe“, the latest Autumn-Winter 2024-2025 show imagined by Hedi Slimane and presented outside the Fashion Week calendar. In this twelve-minute clip, models parade through iconic locations in the French capital. But Paris isn’t the only star of the short film. Amid the sixties-accented silhouettes, images of Celine’s first beauty products are revealed as a refined extension of the brand’s signature Parisian chic.

A collection of lipsticks

The launch of Celine Beauté is marked by the release of a line of lipsticks. Entitled “Le Rouge Celine“, this collection offers a palette of 15 shades, including the classic “La Peau Nue”, which was used to perfect the make-up of the models in the film “La Collection de L’Arc de Triomphe”.

From autumn 2024, the public will be able to discover a first satin lipstick in the shade Rouge Triomphe. Presented in a gold case adorned with the couture house’s emblematic monogram, it is already a classic to incorporate into your make-up routine. The rest of the Le Rouge Celine collection will go on sale in January 2025.
