Bugatti, the French-born manufacturer of ultra-luxury hyper-sports cars, has unveiled its new roadster, the W16 Mistral. Equipped with a powerful 1,600 hp W16 engine, this creation combines exceptional performance with absolute luxury.
Bugatti, famous for its iconic creations for over two centuries, adds a new chapter to its history with the launch of the W16 Mistral. Drawing inspiration from Bugatti’s roadster heritage, this new creation embodies engineering and design excellence.
The W16 Mistral marks Bugatti’s return to the roadster segment, a tradition that dates back to the 1920s with such iconic models as the Type 40 A, Type 41 Roadster Esders, Type 55 Roadster, and the famous Type 57 Roadster Grand Raid Gangloff. It is also the first Bugatti roadster since the Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse, presented in 2012.
Powered by the legendary 1,600 hp W16 engine, the W16 Mistral offers unrivalled performance. Designed to reach a top speed of 420 km/h, it combines raw power with incomparable luxury, redefining segment standards.
“It was not initially planned that the Chiron family would welcome a roadster,” said Emilio Scervo, Technical Director at Bugatti Rimac. “That’s why we had to rethink everything when we decided to build the W16 Mistral, the ultimate tribute to our rich roadster heritage and our legendary W16 engine.”
