The Italian cashmere specialist has unveiled very promising preliminary results for 2023: sales are expected to grow by 22% to 23% to €1.1 billion.
Independence can be a good thing.
While many luxury brands, particularly Italian ones, have joined the folds of luxury groups, Brunello Cucinelli continues to successfully forge its own path.
Its preliminary results for 2023, examined on January 8 by the board of directors of the transalpine cashmere specialist, prove this.
The company, founded in 1978 in Umbria, should thus post growth of between 22% and 23% at current exchange rates, slightly exceeding 1.1 billion euros”, according to Brunello Cucinelli, the company’s eponymous Executive Chairman and Creative Director.
Better-than-expected performance
This performance thus outstripped both analysts’ and the company’s own expectations. Last September, the CEO projected “a pleasant end to the year, with sales growth of around 19%. ”
