Arnaud Haefelin appointed as President of the CTC Group

Arnaud Haefelin is the new President of CTC Group, the Professional Committee for Economic Development in Leather, Footwear, Leather Goods, and Gloves.

On March 26th, Arnaud Haefelin assumed the role of President of the CTC Group (Professional Committee for Economic Development in Leather, Footwear, Leather Goods, and Gloves). He succeeds Patrice Mignon, who held the position for four years.

With a Doctorate in Economics and an MBA from the University of San Diego, Arnaud Haefelin has built his career working for groups such as Pierre Balmain and Kering. In 2001, he acquired Gainerie 91, a group specialized in the production of leather cases, boxes, displays, and other leather items, for luxury groups and holder of the label “Living Heritage Company” (EPV). He also leads the French Federation of Leather Goods (FFM).

Between 2014 and 2019, Arnaud Haefelin notably served on the board of directors of the CTC Group, before becoming its first Vice President in 2021 and now the President.

I aim to build on past achievements and values of the group while bringing my commitment to innovation, an essential component for maintaining the competitiveness of our French SMEs, and share my leadership experience,” he stated.

This change in presidency comes with the appointment of a new board, representing both upstream and downstream leather industries, consisting of a first Vice President in the person of Christophe Dehard, President of the French Federation of Leathers and Skins, and three Vice Presidents: Clémentine Colin Richard, President of the French Federation of Footwear, Jacques Royer, President of the French Union of Footwear Distributors, Importers, Exporters, and Jérôme Verdier, first Vice President of the French Federation of Tannery Megisserie.
