While the couture house of the LVMH group has yet to appoint its new artistic director, it is replacing its previous CEO, Renaud de Lesquen, with Alessandro Valenti, a former Louis Vuitton executive.
Givenchy still does not have a designer, but it has a new CEO.
While its collections are designed by its studio pending the appointment of a new artistic director to replace Matthew Williams, who left last January, the house of the LVMH group is changing direction.
Sidney Toledano, Chairman of the Board of Givenchy, has announced the appointment of Alessandro Valenti as CEO of Givenchy, “with immediate effect.”
He replaces Renaud de Lesquen, who has held this position since 2020 and “wishes to take a new direction in his career.” Sidney Toledano thanked him “for his significant contributions to the LVMH group since he joined in 2012, first at Christian Dior Couture, then at Christian Dior Parfums, and most recently at Givenchy.”
