Agni Atelier collaborates with the New York Giants

Luxury streetwear brand Agni Atelier is collaborating with the NFL for a collection of sweatshirts, t-shirts and socks featuring the American football team The Giants.

 

Usually reserved for industry behemoths, NFL licenses have this time been awarded to the young luxury streetwear brand, Agni Atelier.

 

To celebrate Latino Heritage Month, the Giants teamed up with Ariel Gonzalez and Jorge Peña, co-founders of Agni Atelier. The New York-based streetwear company designed a limited edition collection, sporting “Los Giants” and “Made in NY“.

 

“I’m from Brooklyn, he’s from Harlem, we’re Dominican, we love this city,” said Gonzalez, creative director of Agni Atelier. “We’re all connected to the city. You think of the Giants, you think of New York. We take pride in knowing that most of our products are made here in the Garment District of New York. Even on our labels, it says “Made in New York.” It’s in our blood, so we’re proud to take this brand to another level and partner with the New York Giants.”

 

 

 

Since its launch, Agni Atelier has been seen time and time again on artists like J Balvin, Daddy Yankee and Lil Baby, but also on red carpets or in fashion magazines.

 

The streetwear brand was chosen after meetings with different designers by the Giants and has distinguished itself by creating high quality products. The co-founders also have a strong commitment to the Latino community, which represents a large portion of the American soccer team’s fan base.

 

When the NFL opened the local designer collaboration program, we knew we wanted to use this opportunity to showcase Latino excellence in the design community to celebrate Latino Heritage Month,” said Nilay Shah, vice president of digital marketing for the Giants. “Throughout the creative process, Ariel and Jorge were not only passionate about creating high-end products, but also about making a difference in the community.
