The Aeffe Group, Moschino’s parent company, has announced the appointment of Loris Messina and Simone Rizzo as creative directors of the Italian brand. The duo from Sunnei thus succeeds Adrian Appiolaza.
A well-known duo from the Milan fashion scene is joining the ranks of Moschino. The Aeffe Group, owner of Moschino, announced the arrival of Loris Messina and Simone Rizzo as creative directors. The duo succeeds Adrian Appiolaza, who led the brand’s creative direction for two years.
The two young designers will make their debut at Milan Fashion Week, which will take place from September 22 to 28, 2026. This event comes one year after Loris Messina and Simone Rizzo left Sunnei, the label they founded more than ten years ago.
During their years at the helm of the brand, these two talents built a reputation as mavericks by conceiving runway shows in often unconventional formats, much like their last presentation in September 2025, when the Franco-Italian duo staged a show in the form of an auction of their designs.
