Rémy Cointreau exceeds expectations for its third quarter

Rémy Cointreau exceeded market expectations in the third quarter of its 2025-2026 financial year, driven in particular by its results in the United States.

For the period ending December 31, 2025, Rémy Cointreau reported revenue of €245.8 million, down slightly by 3.3% compared to the same period last year. However, in organic terms, the spirits group posted growth of +2.8%, marking its first increase after several quarters of decline and exceeding analysts’ expectations.

The broader picture is nevertheless less positive : for the first nine months of the 2025-26 financial year (April-December), the group posted sales of €735.4 million, down 6.6% in published data and 1.9% in organic terms. This divergence is mainly due to the negative impact of currencies, estimated at -4.7%, as a result of a weaker US dollar.

Cognac as the driver of recovery

The Cognac segment, which accounts for the largest share of Rémy Cointreau’s revenue, recorded organic growth of +3.2% in the third quarter, thanks in particular to stronger demand in the United States and Europe. For the United States, this is the fourth consecutive quarter of growth in this segment. For the first nine months of the year, cognac sales reached €450.4 million, down from €497.2 million in the first nine months of 2024.
