Laurus : Marriott enters Singapore via The Luxury Collection

Singapore welcomes a new address with the opening of Laurus, the first establishment of The Luxury Collection, a brand belonging to Marriott International, in the city-state.

Nestled in the heart of Resorts World Sentosa, this hotel complex marks the entry of the Marriott International brand into the Singapore market and aims to redefine the codes of luxury in the region.

Designed as a refined sanctuary, The Laurus has been conceived to offer an immersive experience deeply rooted in the Singaporean style.

For Bruce Rohr, Vice President and Global Head of The Luxury Collection, this opening represents a decisive step forward : “As The Luxury Collection’s first property in Singapore, The Laurus, a Luxury Collection Resort offers travelers the opportunity to discover the city from a unique perspective that honors the island’s rich past, celebrates its vibrant landscapes, and invites guests into a refined and deeply personal haven of peace. The Laurus, a Luxury Collection Resort exemplifies our commitment to unique, destination-focused hospitality, where every stay becomes a timeless story in the traveler’s collection.”

A design inspired by history and nature

Laurus covers more than 7,650 square meters and bears the signature of the award-winning firm P49 Deesign. The architecture and interiors reflect an aesthetic where colonial influences and tropical atmosphere blend subtly : open verandas, wood paneling, and historically inspired details shape the hotel’s spaces, while Singapore’s national flower, the orchid, adorns the premises in floral arrangements.
