LVMH: a craft and press comeback with the LVMH Prize 2025 and the Challenges target

The start of the new season at LVMH was marked by the presentation of its famous prize to Japanese designer Soshi Otsuki, with British designers Torishéju Dumi and Steve O Smith winning the Savoir-Faire and Karl Lagerfeld prizes respectively. But the September agenda of the world’s leading luxury goods company also includes the potential takeover of the business magazine Challenges…

 

He was selected from among 2,500 candidates and then from among eight finalists.

 

Japanese designer Soshi Otsuki, a specialist in men’s suits, is the 2025 winner of the coveted LVMH Prize, launched in 2013 by Delphine Arnault, CEO of Christian Dior Couture. This is further proof that perseverance is a must in the highly competitive world of fashion: in 2016, Soshi Otsuki was already a semi-finalist for the prize with his brand Soshiotsuki, founded just one year earlier in 2015.

For this twelfth edition, the two British designers Torishéju Dumi and Steve O Smith were also awarded the Savoir-Faire and Karl Lagerfeld prizes, respectively.
