Just six months after joining the Italian OTB group, the brilliant executive, who has three decades of experience in the luxury sector at LVMH, has announced his departure. Ubaldo Minelli, CEO of OTB, will replace him.
It seems that executive positions are not very stable at the moment in Italian luxury groups.
After Gianfranco d’Attis, who spent only a year and a half at the helm of Prada (Prada group) before being ousted, it is now Serge Brunschwig’s turn to end a very short stint (six months…) at the helm of Jil Sander, owned by the transalpine group OTB.
Personal reasons
On July 30, the executive announced on LinkedIn that it was “the last day” of his tenure at Jil Sander. He thanked the team “for what we have accomplished, for preparing this beautiful brand for its next chapter, and the OTB group for the trust they have placed in him.
“We all love Jil Sander, its purity and its blend of classicism and modernity,” he concluded, wishing “good luck to Jil Sander and the OTB group for the future!”
