Spirits giant Diageo continues its rapid reorganization : two weeks after the surprise departure of its CEO Debra Crew, the group has announced the return of Deirdre Mahlan as interim CFO.
This new appointment comes at a time of profound instability at the top of the group, following the departure of its CEO two weeks ago.
Deirdre Mahlan appointed interim chief financial officer
The Diageo group announced the appointment of Deirdre Mahlan as interim chief financial officer, effective August 18, 2025. She succeeds Nik Jhangiani, who was promoted to group CEO earlier this month, also on an interim basis.
