Flexjet raises $800 million in historic investment led by L Catterton

Flexjet, one of the world’s leading private aviation companies, has announced a record $800 million fundraising round led by a consortium of strategic investors headed by L Catterton, an investment firm affiliated with luxury goods giant LVMH.

 

This transaction between Flexjet and L Catterton represents the largest equity investment ever made in a private jet company. This historic deal is also supported by subsidiaries of KSL Capital Partners and the J. Safra Group, two players renowned for their investments in the luxury, travel, and hospitality sectors.

 

A strategy focused on the high-end customer experience

 

This financial contribution aims to support Flexjet’s ambitious transformation, which seeks to redefine the standards of private travel. The company is focusing on enriching the customer experience through tailor-made services that go far beyond simple air transport.
