Benjamin Patou and Antoine Arnault have announced the creation of Lapérouse Holding, a new investment structure dedicated to Parisian culinary institutions. The first emblematic transaction was the acquisition of Prunier, a legendary restaurant in the 16th arrondissement of Paris.
A few months after the sale of Moma Group to Butler Industries for 100 million euros, Benjamin Patou returns to the forefront of the Parisian gastronomic scene alongside one of the most influential names in French luxury : Antoine Arnault.
Arnault, a director of the LVMH group and CEO of Christian Dior, has a long history with Benjamin Patou, a renowned hospitality entrepreneur. Childhood friends, they are already partners in several prestigious establishments, including Lapérouse, a Left Bank institution founded in 1766, and the recently relaunched Lafayette restaurant.
An alliance based on a shared vision
With Lapérouse Holding, their partnership takes on a new strategic dimension. The ambition is clear : to build a selective portfolio of addresses embodying the soul of Paris. The acquisition of Prunier, founded in 1872 and renowned for its seafood and caviar, is part of this strategy of heritage excellence.
