Coty is reportedly no longer just looking to sell its beauty products, but its entire business.

 

According to information published by WWD on June 16, which the American group declined to comment on, Coty has put its luxury and consumer divisions up for sale. To this end, it would be forced to split the two businesses in two, as a single sale to a single buyer would likely violate US antitrust rules.

 

A more attractive luxury division

 

However, while Coty may have found interested parties for its luxury (or prestige) division, the sale of the second would be more complicated, according to sources in the specialist media.
