Woodford Reserve Emirates Personal Selection: the new Bourbon on board Emirates aircraft

It’s an exclusive! Woodford Reserve, America’s leading whisky distiller, and Emirates Airline have teamed up to offer customers a unique, limited-edition Bourbon throughout the month of July.

 

Woodford Reserve, the American brand of brandy, and the Emirates airline have been working together for fifteen years. And this year, they’ve decided to celebrate the partnership by unveiling a limited-edition bourbon, served exclusively on selected flights, for one month only. The brandy is simply called Woodford Reserve Emirates Personal Selection.

 

 

Emirates, the largest airline in the United Arab Emirates and the Middle East, is the only airline to launch a whisky in collaboration with a bourbon brand. Woodford Reserve Emirates Personal Selection will be available only to first and business class passengers on selected routes to the UK, USA, Australia and South East Asia.

 

This brown spirit, specially selected by Emirates, gives off aromas of dried fruit, sweet honey, vanilla buttercream, not forgetting the slight taste of charred wood. All this is enhanced by flavors of cherry, chocolate and caramel.

 

Woodford Reserve emphasizes the balance between the five flavors of American whisky, offering alcohol lovers a spectacle for the senses, between sweet and fruity notes with a touch of spice and wood.

 

Every year, Emirates serves over 90,000 miniature bottles of Woodford Reserve to passengers, and 6,500 75 cl bottles in the Lounge on board the A380.

 

Since 2006, Emirates, one of the world’s most prestigious airlines, has invested over a billion dollars in its wine and spirits program, offering customers an unrivalled selection of beverages.
