On Monday, the first episode of the new Maison Boucheron podcast entitled “Trues Stories” was released. In a five-episode series called “For Better and For Worse”, for which Guillaume Gallienne lends his voice, the famous jeweller tells anecdotes about emotions, weddings, and stormy relationships collected over time on old order books.

A historical look back at the personalities of the 20th century.

Created in 1858, the French jeweller Boucheron has survived through the ages and has become a privileged witness to the inclinations and love intrigues of his clients. Each piece of jewellery is a testimony to the memory of those who, through the course of these incredible adventures, knew how to wear it.

It is a precious heritage that the emblematic jewellery of the Place Vendôme, number 26, reveals to us, taking us through the most memorable unions and disunions of the last century, through intimate details.

An exquisite narration by Guillaume Gallienne

A member of the Comédie française, Guillaume Gallienne manages to train us with affability to the rhythm of these incredible stories, which he tells in English. In this first series of five episodes, lasting about ten minutes, he brings back to life the exciting and romantic wedding stories recorded by the Maison Boucheron.

In this first episode, he retraces the fruitless union of Countess Anna Gould and the fickle dandy Boniface de Castellane whose impudent libertinism will lead them to divorce in 1902. A scandal for the time.

The episodes will run weekly on the Apple Podcast, Soundcloud and Spotify listening platforms.
