Dewar’s, the benchmark for top-of-the-range Scotch whisky, invites itself to the 125th US Open with a rare and daring edition of its 19-year-old. The Champions Edition, aged in Calvados casks, celebrates the refined union of two exceptional worlds: that of legendary golf and craft whisky.
When the refinement of golf meets the age-old tradition of Scotch whisky, the result is The Champions Edition.
To coincide with the US Open, currently taking place from June 12 to 15 at the legendary Oakmont Country Club in Pennsylvania, Dewar’s is presenting a new, exclusive expression of its 19 Year Old. This limited-edition vintage cuvée embodies the elegance of a partnership.
A cask tribute to Pennsylvania history
For this fifth edition, Dewar’s once again innovates with a finish in Calvados Apple Brandy barrels, paying homage to the historic roots of apple distilling in Pennsylvania. This choice is not insignificant: since the 18th century, the region has been a major producer of apple brandy, an agricultural heritage that has become cultural.
