The luxury super yacht Stefania is scheduled for auction on January 25th at the International Yachting Club in Antibes. With an estimated value between 8 and 10 million euros and a mysterious past, the vessel is already attracting the interest of yacht enthusiasts and those intrigued by legal narratives.
On Monday, December 18th, the judicial commissioner De Baecque & Associates announced an extraordinary auction! Scheduled for January 25th, it involves the Stefania, a 41-meter super yacht built in 2021, valued between 8 and 10 million euros.
The exceptional vessel had been seized by the Agency for the Management and Recovery of Seized and Confiscated Assets (AGRASC), which operates under the Ministries of Justice and Budget.
The auctions will take place in the helistation lounge of the International Yachting Club in Antibes or by phone, with prior registration and a dossier submission subject to a caution deposit of €500,000.
The details surrounding the seizure of the Stefania have not been disclosed, but information from the Italian press suggests that it was confiscated from its owner, a Belarusian billionaire, as part of an investigation into money laundering between France and Italy. The Cayman Islands-registered vessel had been spotted leaving the Italian port of Genoa to reach Antibes last month.
