The Louis Vuitton Foundation is offering an alternative to visitors who cannot physically attend the tours organized by the Foundation. Starting November 27, the Foundation will offer live tours of the Morozov Collection exhibition and Frank Gehry’s architecture.

This alternative to physical visits was launched in October 2021, notably during the Foundation’s closure. This solution allowed everyone to discover the “Cindy Sherman” exhibition. This practice has also developed because of the health crisis, which forced cultural venues, including the Foundation, to close their doors.
“The Live Visit is an original, immersive experience, to be experienced live from home, to exchange with a cultural mediator and other connected visitors, and to spend a convivial moment around the architecture and the current exhibitions. From a computer or a tablet, the public can discover the exhibition route in HD 360° video with the commentary of a cultural mediator, or the building from new angles“, explained the Fondation Louis Vuitton explained in its press release.
Launched on September 22, 2021, the exhibition “The Morozov Collection. Icons of Modern Art” has been a worldwide success since its opening. This is why the Louis Vuitton Foundation is proposing this innovative device for remote viewing, to allow all French people as well as tourists to be able to attend, with a health context still unstable.

Live visits open to all
The Fondation Louis Vuitton has chosen to offer these live tours also in English, to allow its international public, unable to visit the exhibition in person, to attend the exhibitions. Other languages than French and English can be offered, but on request to the Foundation.
Remote visits have also been arranged for companies and professional groups as a unifying event, wishing to discover the Morozov Collection and the architecture of Frank Ghery.
Two exhibitions for live visits
A cultural mediator welcomes virtual visitors on the dedicated platform and guides them on a 360° tour, meeting the works of the Morozov Collection, unveiling paintings by famous painters Monet, Vroubel, Gauguin, Van Gogh and many others.

For the tour of Frank Gehry’s architecture, the cultural mediator will reveal the secrets of the building, in a journey from the auditorium to the reflections of its waterfall, through the glass roofs of the terraces, through an aerial view to finish this visit in beauty.
The Louis Vuitton Foundation is open Monday to Thursday from 10am to 8pm, Friday from 10am to 1pm and Saturday to Sunday from 9am to 9pm. For reservations for the live tours, it’s here.
