The House of Chanel appoints Fabrice Raoul as the new Chief Financial Officer of Europe and CEO of Chanel SAS. He succeeds Luc Dony, who retired last March.
In the absence of revealing the name of its next artistic director, Chanel has just announced a change in its French subsidiary. Fabrice Raoul, former CFO of the beauty division for the brand with the double C, becomes the new CEO of Chanel France.
He thus takes over the responsibilities of Luc Dony, CFO of Europe and CEO of Chanel SAS, who retired last March.
Fabrice Raoul will report to Bruno Pavlovsky, President of the Fashion and Crafts division and of Chanel SAS. The two men will work hand in hand to ensure the direction of the House founded by Gabrielle Chanel.
A Well-Led Career
A graduate of ESCP Business School, Fabrice Raoul stands out for his career and solid experience in the finance and management sectors.
He first worked for the food specialist group Nestlé before becoming the CFO of Bourjois. At the time, the cosmetics brand was a subsidiary of Chanel.
In 2012, he joined the Perfumes and Beauty division of the Parisian luxury House before being promoted to its CFO two years later.
His appointment as CFO of Europe and CEO of Chanel SAS is the culmination of a well-led career within the brand.
