The Parisian organization, which brings together around a hundred members of the luxury sector (hotels, fashion, watchmaking and jewelry, etc.) based in the Vendôme district, has adopted a collegial form of governance. It has also created two new committees, dedicated to communication and to art and culture.

 

The Comité Vendôme is modernizing its governance.

 

On February 12, the organization created in 1936 to “bring together the great jewelers and goldsmiths of finance” based on the Place Vendôme, announced its reorganization.

 

The objective is to be ever more effective in preserving the “extra soul” of the square originally, and now of the entire surrounding neighborhood, which extends from Rue Cambon to Rue Saint Roch, via Place de l’Opéra and the Tuileries Garden, and to “watch over its influence throughout the world”, whether in terms of safety, culture or architecture.

 

New governance

 

To fulfill all these missions, the Vendôme committee has adopted a new form of governance, which is now collegial, and has created two dedicated commissions.
