Simone Bellotti appointed to the creation of Jil Sander

The Italian designer Simone Bellotti is leaving the design department of Bally to take the reins of Jil Sander. With a wealth of experience in men’s fashion, his mission is to renew the collections of the fashion house targeting women and their partners, owned by the Italian group OTB.

 

After a new CEO and a new artistic director

 

Jil Sander, the fashion house of the Italian group OTB, continues to renew its organization chart.

 

After announcing last February the arrival of Serge Brunschwig, a former LVMH executive and a leading figure in the luxury sector, as CEO, Jil Sander has just appointed Simone Bellotti as its artistic director with immediate effect.

 

Lucie and Luke Meier’s replacement

 

The Italian designer is taking the place of the duo Lucie and Luke Meier, whose departure was announced last month, after seven years at the scissors of Jil Sander. The Swiss-Canadian couple had restored the Milanese fashion house, bought in 2021 by OTB from the Japanese group Onward Holdings, to its former glory.
