The appointment of Serge Brunschwig as Strategic Director of OTB and Managing Director of Jil Sander was announced on February 5, the day after he announced his departure from LVMH, where he had worked for thirty years.
The suspense didn’t last long.
On February 5, the day after announcing his departure from LVMH via a Linkedin post, Serge Brunschwig’s new destination was announced in a press release from OTB, the owner of the Diesel, Jil Sander, Maison Margiela, Marni and Viktor & Rolf brands.
OTB announced his appointment as Chief Strategy Officer of the Italian group and Managing Director of Jill Sander, effective February 5.
At Jil Sander, Serge Brunschwig replaces Luca Lo Curzio, who has left to head up K-Way.
Double hat
Ubaldo Minelli, CEO of the OTB Group, explained that Serge Brunschwig’s objective at Jil Sander would be to “improve the positioning of this brand of inestimable potential, by carefully and strategically guiding its growth trajectory” and that “thanks to his experience and international vision, he will also contribute to defining an even more ambitious strategic path for OTB”.
