Comme des garçons associates with 9 designers

Comme des Garçons launches the Happy Holidays capsule collection for the end of the year. This year, designer Rei Kawakubo called on nine fashionable designers at the moment.
Gucci, Jean-Paul Gaultier and Maison Margiela, among others, have joined forces to create an exclusive collection.
Each designer focused on an emblematic product, often a t-shirt, reinterpreted under the eyes of the Japanese brand, from the Burberry tartan scarf to Jean Paul Gaultier’s marinière twisted with red dots, or the Gucci bag, a kraft paper shopper bag covered with a transparent plastic covered with the famous ribbon in the brand’s colours.
This is the very first collaboration with another brand for Maison Margiela. On this occasion, the group’s brand proposed a new version of the white t-shirt that it has been releasing every year since 1994 to fight against AIDS.
The collection was launched in Japan on November 23rd at Comme des Garçons and Dover Street Market Ginza, while the international launch is scheduled for December 5th.
Tesla in a bad mood in China

Tesla’s sales in China have declined by 70% year-on-year since October 2017.
The reason is that the Californian manufacturer of electric cars is suffering the full brunt of the trade war between Washington and Beijing.
A China Passenger Car Association (CPCA) official said that CPCA data showed 211 Tesla were saled last month in China, the world’s largest automotive market.
The group, which only sells imported cars in China, said in early October that its sales in China were affected by the 40% increase in customs duties on car imports from the United States, decided by Beijing in July.
Although sales of cars powered by non-thermal energy continue to be on the rise in China, the overall automotive market has been contracting since mid-year, suggesting a first annual decline in nearly 30 years in 2018.
