Dior has just announced the appointment of singer Rihanna as the new face of the J’Adore perfume.
The race for brand ambassadors is a key aspect of the competition among luxury Houses. On June 18, Dior made an announcement that will certainly help them aim for the gold: singer Rihanna is officially the new face of the iconic J’Adore perfume.
As the Barbadian artist unveiled her new hair care line Fenty Hair a few days ago, she now adds a new line to her impressive resume. Appointed as the face of Dior’s J’Adore perfume, Rihanna succeeds Hollywood star Charlize Theron, who embodied the fragrance for 20 years, and before her, the model Carmen Kass, appointed in 1999.
“Being the new face of J’adore is both an honor and a mission. This fragrance, which I have known and loved forever, means so much to women. I am particularly touched to join this adventure and to bring my universe, my story and roots, my creativity, and my own femininity to it,” Rihanna said in a press release.
