Haute Couture week is in full swing in Paris and brands continue to present their fall-winter 2021-2022 shows. After Dior, it is the turn of Chanel, Schiaparelli and Giorgio Armani to unveil their collection.
Chanel fashion show inspired by muses and museums
The world of art was the driving force behind the show for Chanel‘s artistic director, Virginie Viard. The inspiration for this collection was romanticism and the impressionist painting movement. The palette was pink, green, blue and a touch of yellow.
37 silhouettes were paraded in the Palais Galliera, the fashion museum of the city of Paris, where the exhibition on an extraordinary couturier, Gabrielle Chanel, is currently taking place.

The show was also marked by the arrival of the latest silhouette, Margaret Qualley, actress and ambassador of the House. She closed the show in an immaculate white wedding gown with a traditional look, enhanced by the colourful sequin veil that added a touch of madness.
Dreamlike and nostalgic in the Schiaparelli collection
For the fall-winter 2021-2022 haute couture show, the House of Schiaparelli presented creations true to the legacy of founder Elsa Schiaparelli, known for her surreal and whimsical world.
Daniel Roseberry, artistic director of the House of Schiaparelli, has never ceased to highlight the brand’s heritage. The collection, entitled “The Matador“, highlights the surrealist imagination and exuberance that were the hallmarks of Elsa Schiaparelli.
Among the most striking pieces of the collection, a multicolored jacket with voluminous sleeves, embroidered with gold and eye patterns, reminiscent of a matador bolero that the designer had already introduced in her collections in the late 30s.
The pieces are embellished with gold accessories, representing different parts of the body : the eyes, the nose, the breasts or even the ears.
Giorgio Armani celebrates happy days in style
For its private collection, the Giorgio Armani fashion show took place in Paris, but more precisely at the Italian Embassy, to recall the origins of the House.
The pieces are light, bright silk in shades of blue, pink, purple and declined in elegant sets and dresses.
