In 2023, Porsche saw an overall increase in exports, with deliveries up in key regions such as Europe and North America. Despite challenges in China linked to the economic situation, iconic models such as the Porsche 911 maintained their appeal, recording significant growth.
Porsche will be on the road in 2023. The luxury carmaker announced on Friday January 12 that it had increased its deliveries by 3%, with 320,221 vehicles delivered worldwide. Last September, the German brand had already confirmed its margin forecasts.
In Europe (excluding Germany), Porsche delivered 70,229 cars last year. This represents an increase of 12% year-on-year compared with 2022. In its home market of Germany, 32,430 customers took delivery of a new car, an increase of 10%.
North America, meanwhile, recorded 86,059 deliveries, an increase of 9%, making it Porsche’s biggest sales region in 2023.
In China, deliveries fell by 15% in 2023, with 79,283 cars delivered. This decline is “mainly due to the continuing difficult economic situation in the region”, the company said in a statement.
Finally, the Overseas and Emerging Markets sales region continues to develop positively, with deliveries up 16%. A total of 52,220 cars were delivered to customers in 2023.
